This the original demo. version of “True Love” by Lil Suzy. I forget who the singers are. This is before Tony Garcia added the sample from Debbie Gibson’s “Only In My Dreams” and Lil Suzy sang it.

I always thought this should’ve been the follow-up to “Take Me In Your Arms”. I fought the record company a little on this point, but as the (very) junior partner in the endeavor I was overruled. They went with “Falling in Love”, which I also co-wrote but thought this record and song was better.

In any case, working on “Take Me In Your Arms” and the other songs I did for Lil Suzy’s first record was a great chapter.
